Altars on Elan are a new opportunity for guilds to "skip" narrow passages on elan, which are so important in the positional struggle for Pit Bosses that guilds had to occupy these narrow passages many hours before the Pit Bosses themselves respawned, thereby gaining an advantage, but at the same time losing many hours of playing time, which they could invest in the development of their characters or guilds.
Functionality - All new altars on elan are connected by a one-way chain of teleports/portals (from the start of elan to the end of elan), which allow characters to move between them.
Once every 12 hours for 3.000.000 of racial currency, you can once* use one (and only one [of your choice]) of the altars on Elan to move to the only next available blue altar on Elan (i.e., it is impossible to "jump" over several blue altars), thereby missing a strategic narrow passage that in a situation without altars, it would be a difficult target to get through.
* It does not matter which altar you use for teleportation – if you have used at least one of the altars, then you will be able to use the other altar only after at least 12 hours.
How to use altars - To use altars, you must have the item "Ancient Seal of Elan". To get this item, you need to buy another item "Precious Coin" from the NPC Foreign Vendor in the starting zone on Elan. Then here, without leaving the starting zone on elan, with the help of the purchased coin, start the quest from a Representative of your Race and immediately complete it by clicking on the Conversation from the same Representative.
Cooldown of the quest – 23 hours. The time of possession of the Ancient Seal of Elan is 12 hours.
The Ancient Seal of Elan is required to use any altar. After using any altar, the Ancient Seal of Elan disappears.

Differences of Altars - Altars are located evenly throughout the elan, starting with the passage to zone with PB Taraven.
There are 2 types of altars on Elan – a Blue Altar and a Red Altar. Blue altars are used to teleport/portal to the next blue altar. Red altars are also used to teleport/portal to the next blue altar.
Both altars perform the same teleportation/portal function to the next available blue altar, but only the blue altar is an altar to which anyone can teleport/arrive.
That is, the blue altar is both the point of "arrival" and the point of "departure", when the red altar is used only for "departure".
