The new global event Battle for Ether creates new points of conflict and unique rewards, regardless of whether you are a solo player, or a player in a party, or a member of a guild and race - everyone will be able to contribute and receive rewards for the Battle for Ether.
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Battle for Ether takes place in the Ether location.
- The event takes place once a week, on Sunday at 20:00 Moscow time (17:00 GMT, 23:59 WIB). The event duration is 1 hour.
- During the event, the loot drop from farm mobs is reduced
there is no farm reduction during OBT
REWARDS
For participating in the event, each character receives passive bonuses: increased drop rate and damage against monsters. The higher the race's rank in the event, the stronger the racial buff effect. The bonus lasts until the next event, specifically for the entire week! Do not miss the event so as not to be left without the bonus for all 7 days.
- Race 1st place: 15% drop + 6% PVE damage
- Race 2nd place: 10% drop + 4% PVE damage
- Race 3rd place: 5% drop + 2% PVE damage
In each race, at the end of the event, three race heroes assigned. Race Hero status is granted to characters who have the top 3 points at the end of the event in their race. Race Heroes receive a unique aura and a bonus of 10% overall damage and 10% MAU damage for the entire following week.
While holding the Race Hero buff, it is impossible to list the character on the auction via charshop.
The bonus can be found in the relics menu under the "Technical" section.
Racial currency and gold points drop from all event monsters (except pillars). Loot increase potions do not affect this. For the terminal, the loot is shared by everyone, regardless of who landed the last hit or dealt the most damage.
POINTS AND RATING
For killing event monsters and completing objectives, characters receive personal event points. All personal event points are summed up into race points.
At the end of the event, races take first, second, or third place, depending on which race has more race points. The higher the race's rank, the stronger their racial buff for the entire following week.
The top 3 characters with the highest points in their race also receive the Race Hero bonus for the entire following week.
Rating points (current points of each race and personal character points) are displayed in a separate menu, which is visible only while on Ether during the event. The rating table updates every 30 seconds. If a character is outside the Ether location, they do not receive personal points.
- Points for Pit Bosses in a party are granted to party members only if they were near the Pit Boss at the moment of the PB's death.
- Points for Pillars are granted to the party regardless of where the characters are in the Ether location, but at the moment of killing the Pillar, the party members must be near the pillar, otherwise passive point calculation will not work.
MONSTERS AND OBJECTIVES
The Battle for Ether event has 4 types of monsters and objectives. Solo turncoat monsters, group Pit Boss conquerors, pillars for races and guilds, and terminal for everyone.
Event monsters exist only when the Battle for Ether is active.
Solo monsters - Turncoats
- Race turncoats constantly appear in the Ether Platform zone, and have weak stats so that almost any level 50 character can farm them.
- Monsters have random and fast spawns; staying to farm in one spot will not work, you need to constantly move in search of turncoats.
- For killing a turncoat, a character receives 1 event point (does not work for a party).
the point is counted for the one who had loot rights (by damage) - Also, racial currency and gold points drop from turncoats.
loot increase potions do not work
Group monsters - Conquerors
- Conquerors Pit Bosses appear randomly throughout the entire Ether location. They spawn constantly throughout the event.
- When a Pit Boss is killed, all party members who participated in the kill receive event points. Party members must be near the PB at the moment of death to receive points.
- Points are awarded to the party that has loot rights to this PB (by damage).
- There are three types of conqueror monsters: Curr Conqueror (1st grade), Golem Conqueror (2nd grade), Guardian Conqueror (3rd grade).
- The higher the grade of the Pit Boss, the more points it brings to the party and the more racial currency and gold point it drops.
- Curr conquerors appear frequently on the main roads of Ether.
- When a Curr is killed, each character in the party receives 4 points.
Although Curr PBs are Pit Bosses, they do not appear on the PB scanner.
- When a Curr is killed, each character in the party receives 4 points.
- Golem conquerors appear infrequently, mostly on the outskirts of zones.
- When a Golem is killed, each character in the party receives 22 points.
- Guardian conquerors appear most rarely in the between pillars zones.
- When a Guardian is killed, each character in the party receives 45 points.
Pillars
- The Battle for Ether has unique control points - Pillars.
- When a pillar is killed, the party that killed it gains control over that pillar, and the pillar fully restores its health after capture.
- If another party kills this pillar, the previous party will lose control, and the new party that captured it will gain control.
- When a pillar is killed, a notification appears in the chat stating which pillar was captured and by whom.
- Control of the pillar is granted to the character/party that landed the last hit.
- The pillar constantly (every 30 seconds) brings 4-6 event points to all characters in the party that controls it, regardless of where the party members are, meaning it is not necessary to be near the pillar to continuously receive control points.
- But AT THE MOMENT OF KILLING the Pillar, party members must be near the pillar, otherwise passive point calculation will not work.
- There are 6 pillars in total. Pillar locations:
- 1) Lockout wharf
- 2) Graveyard
- 3) Lemon yard
- 4) Lures lot
- 5) Jacks lot
- 6) Bell. repairs
- For each race (specifically the race of the party controlling it), the pillar has its own unique appearance.
Terminal
- The Terminal is located in the center of Ether and has no affiliation with any race; it is hostile to all races and is a major objective in the Battle for Ether event.
- The Terminal is an objective for the entire race and has a very high amount of HP. It requires many characters and time to destroy it.
- The Terminal does not respawn after destruction.
- Destroying the terminal awards a large number of race points (not to be confused with personal points), which are divided proportionally among all races based on how much damage the race dealt to the terminal.
- A total of 22,000 race points are awarded. The percentage ratio is calculated by damage to the terminal; for example, if the Bellato race dealt 50% damage, the Cora race dealt 30% damage, and the Accretia race dealt 20% damage, the Bellato race will receive 11,000 race points, the Cora race will receive 6,600 race points, and the Accretia race will receive 4,400 race points.
- Additionally, the top three characters of each race by damage to the terminal receive 375 event points. (Regardless of how much damage their race or another race dealt in total, even if you were the only representative of your race who hit the terminal once, you will receive 375 points because you entered the "top 3" damage to the terminal from your race).
- When the terminal is destroyed, racial currency coupons and gold points drop from it; the loot is for everyone, regardless of who landed the last hit or dealt the damage.
